Terms and refund policy

Who we are

Haddad Studio is in the JAX area of Diriyah, Riyadh, and is operated by Al-Mashhad Al-Muasir Est. This page sets out the booking, payment and refund terms for the workshops, chapters, the Development Track and the Midad Residency, which the studio runs with Lam Al-Qamariya.

Booking and payment

Payment is through the Haddad Studio store on Salla, by card, mada or Apple Pay, or in four instalments with Tamara. The site takes you to Salla to complete payment; we do not collect your card details.

After you pay, you receive a booking confirmation, then we add you to the WhatsApp group for your workshop or chapter.

After you book the Development Track, the Midad team will meet you for a short introductory call.

Cancellation, refunds and changes

You can cancel your booking for a refund, or change it, up to 72 hours before the date. A change means moving the booking to another date or to another person, depending on the service. This applies to workshops, chapters and programme bundles, space hire, and Dialogue & Paint.

After that, or if you do not attend, the amount is not refunded.

If the studio cancels or postpones a workshop, we refund you, keep the same amount as credit for another workshop, or move your booking to another date or to another person, depending on the workshop.

On the Development Track, you can get a full refund if you ask within 48 hours of payment.

For the Midad Residency, once forty-eight hours have passed since payment the fees are not refundable, unless the studio cancels the residency itself, in which case fees for the remaining period are returned, as set out in the residency agreement.

What a booking includes

Workshops include the materials used for experimenting during the session. Materials for producing your own work are your own.

A single workshop or a single chapter does not include the studio, and neither does booking the whole Outer Training. The workspace at Haddad Studio is open to Development Track members.

Workshops and the programme do not come with a certificate, and the programme does not include accommodation or transport.
